Orrest Head Trail & Kirkstone Pass:

• Guide4UK picked up students from their accommodations in London and reached the Lake District by midday.
• Our first stop was the Orrest Head Trail, which offers panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells.
• The trail was a relatively easy hike, and we enjoyed the stunning scenery as we made our way to the top.
• After spending some time taking in the views, we headed towards Kirkstone Pass.
• Kirkstone Pass is a mountain pass in the Lake District, and it offers some of the most dramatic scenery in the region.
• We stopped at a few viewpoints along the way to take pictures and admire the landscape.
• Reached accommodation in the evening, it was a cosy cottage with a fireplace. The group came together to prepare a meal and enjoyed board games and drinks in front of crackling fireplace.

Honister Pass & Buttermere:

• Our second day started with a drive through Honister Pass, which is known for its rugged beauty and breath-taking views.
• Next, we headed towards Buttermere, a beautiful lake that is surrounded by fells.
• We walked around the lake and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The scenery was stunning, and we felt completely immersed in nature.
•  We also stopped at a few local cafes and pubs to try some of the region’s famous food and drink.
• In the evening, we headed back to Keswick and spent some time exploring the town and its many shops and restaurants.

Keswick & Grasmere & Gingerbread Shop

• On our final day, we visited Derwentwater. This beautiful lake is located just south of Keswick and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The group took a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge and explored the picturesque beauty surrounding the lake.
• Next, we headed to Grasmere village which is known for its stunning natural beauty, with rolling hills and picturesque valleys surrounding the village.
• Grasmere village itself is charming and quaint, with historic stone buildings and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for students seeking relaxation and natural beauty.
•  Finally, we stopped at the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, which is a local institution. We tried some of their famous gingerbread, which was delicious.
• We ended our journey in Lake District with a celebratory drink by the waterside pub at Lake Windermere before heading our way back to London.
